Tiffy has been practising yoga for 20 years and has been teaching for 15 years. Her teaching style weaves the breath led flow of Astanga Yoga with the precision alignment of the Iyengar system. She encourages students to develop a practice which is gentle yet strong and according to their own body and individual needs. “Yoga takes us out of the incessant flurry of the mind and brings us home to that quiet, gentle place that is constant inside us all. The breath is the thread which draws us more deeply into our physical and emotional body, allowing us to soften and let go, and connects us with that part of us which is at ease; strong, light and energised.”
Her many inspiring teachers have included Catriona Brokenshire, Sarah Litton, Dena Kingsberg, Mathew Sweeney, Glen Ceresoli, Louisa Sear, Rose Baudin and Sarah Powers. Her initial formal training was with Yoga Arts in Australia. Since then she has trained in Yoga Therapy with Tias Little and in Pregnancy Yoga with Birthlight. She is also greatly inspired by Clive Sheridan’s teachings in pranayama and meditation. Tiffy feels very lucky to share this practice with others and to help them to discover the benefits and joys of yoga for themselves.
