Astanga Vinyasa is the original form of dynamic (movement based) Yoga. It’s principal focus is on breath and movement synchronisation allowing students to develop strength and well as flexibility.
This workshop will provide a complete introduction for complete beginners as well as off current practitioners an opportunity to return to the root of the system.
There will a brief review of history and meaning of Astanga Yoga, followed by breath and bandha work before we work through the key comparative poses of the primary series. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A and we’ll hopefully have some fun in the process.
