Nadia discovered yoga after her mum dragged her reluctantly to a Hatha class at a local YMCA over 20 years ago. Since then she has explored a range of styles and stayed with an Ashtanga self-practice the longest. She has a deep commitment to modifying and making the practice inclusive. Everyone comes to yoga for different reasons. They’re likely to stay with it for others – Nadia’s personal favourite is for self-inquiry and transformative effects the practice can have on strengthening the mind and body. She takes a contemporary, non-dogmatic approach to teaching. Her belief is that anyone can do yoga if they want to – it’s down to the teacher to take a flexible, compassionate and intelligent approach to help students find what best suits them.
