Yoga with chairs is an incredible and multifarious way of practicing yoga in powerful, inspiring and dynamic new ways.
Practising chair yoga will:
• Teach beginners how to do the poses with less effort and better alignment.
• Teach intermediate practitioners how to extend the range and duration of the poses safely
•Teach advanced practitioners how to deepen and develop their practice of advanced poses
•Show Teachers how to gain useful and enjoyable ideas to enrich their classes.
• Mix up one’s sense of what one assumes about postures and thereby free us up from a patterned, habituated way of practice into a dynamic awareness which constitutes the very heart of what yoga is for.
