We will practice key classical yoga postures, associated with specific energy centres along the spinal column, perhaps holding them for longer than generally held in a regular class. This allows the space to chill and experience the more subtle & yet powerful effects of these postures on both the mind and body. We may also practice some advanced variations.


Breath is the outward manifestation of vital energy. We can gain control of the breath through the practice of key breathing techniques (pranayama)
We will practice alternate nostril breathing.It is an excellent technique for balancing the nervous system. It will calm you when feeling hyperactive, stimulate you when feeling lethargic and centre you when distracted.

Yoga Nidra:
We conclude with a guided deep relaxation.
