This 6 beginner course will focus on giving the student the foundations they need to begin their yoga practice. Each week will breakdown different elements of the practice including the sun salutations (Surya Namaskar), common poses, the use of the breath – pranayama and meditation and the key sanskrit terminology. The course will equip you with the skills to work safely and feel confident on the mat. Giving consideration to a broad range of yoga styles, the course will prepare you to take further classes and start your own yoga journey.
